So, Tara's biological uncle, David, got a hold of me by phone the day after my last post. Dean (Tara's dad) was in Oregon visiting David and their mom Darlene, who has 4 different kinds of cancer). David and I talked for a little bit and he told me Dean would get a hold of me when he got back to his home in California. So 2 days later he called and he we talked for a bit. I just wanted to make sure things would go smoothly for Tara. They have been talking over the phone almost every day since and Dean and I talk at least once a week. Things are going well so far.
